| January 24, 2007 The Longview Partnership, an organization of civic groups in the Longview, Texas area, awarded Hanson Pipe and Precast’s Longview facility the Manufacturer of the Year Award. The awards ceremony took place January 11 with more than 600 Longview civic leaders in attendance. “We are pleased to win such a prestigious award from the Longview Community,” said Ronnie McKinney, manager of the Longview production facility, who accepted the award for Hanson. “Hanson strives to be a part of the communities we serve and this award is a validation of those efforts.” In addition to Hanson’s presence in Longview, the company contributes to the community through several non-profits including United Way, Michael Martin Murphy concert and the Gilmer Jamboree and Kids Festival. Hanson will move its Longview operations to a new production facility located at 40 FRJ Drive in the spring. The Longview facility is part of Hanson Pipe & Precast’s South Central Region headquartered in Grand Prairie, Texas. The South Central region services Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The region’s 26 plants produce a wide variety of products, including those used for community and roadway development such as reinforced concrete pipe, drainage structures, modular bridges and pressure pipe.
