and Improvements

June 3, 2010
Hanson Pipe & Precast, a leading manufacturer of concrete pipe and precast products, was recently honored by both the National Precast Association (NCPA) and the American Concrete Pipe Association (ACPA) for multiple awards showcasing industry leadership and exceptional operation and management. Such achievements highlight Hanson’s commitment to safety, efficiency and its focus on sustainability.

“I am proud of each of these teams for their performance and dedication to sustainable operations,” said Richard Manning, president of Hanson Building Products North America. “It takes everyone’s efforts each day, to achieve these types of honors, and that’s what differentiates Hanson Building Products and our six divisions from other companies.”

Hanson Pipe & Precast’s Winter Haven, Fla., facility was presented with the “Quality Award of Excellence” at this year’s NPCA Precast Show Phoenix Convention for their outstanding score in the Plant Certification Program. The NPCA Plant Certification Program is a voluntary certification program that creates an exciting way for precast and pre-stressed concrete plants to demonstrate their commitment to production of high-quality products. Hanson was placed highest among 400 plants.

In addition, the NCPA and the ACPA also recognized multiple Hanson Pipe & Precast facilities for the following:
