Hanson Pipe & Precast, Inc., today announced the promotion of several Northeast division staff members. Sue Tanenbaum, Midwest vice president, will take on the added responsibility of the Ohio area and its five facilities. Pat Kelly, formerly the Midwest production manager, was promoted to Ohio area production manager. Cory McKinnon, the Apple Valley plant manager, advanced to production manager, and plant foreman Travis Elder was promoted to Apple Valley plant manager.
These promotions in Hanson Pipe & Precast’s Northeast region are a result of a restructuring that has combined all plants in Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton and Sidney, Ohio; Apple Valley, Minn., and Sioux Falls, S.D., into the new Midwest business area.
“This reorganization streamlines our operations in the Northeast region, creating a more cohesive and efficient group,” said Bob Christensen, Hanson’s Northeast region president. “The restructuring will help us continue to service our customers with high-quality products and services in Minnesota, Ohio and South Dakota.”
Columbus, Ohio, is home to Hanson Pipe & Precast’s Northeast regional office. The Northeast region serves Maryland, Minnesota, New England, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Virginia and Ontario, Canada. The region’s 25 plants produce several products, including those used for community and roadway development, such as reinforced concrete pipe, drainage structures, noise barriers, bridge products, HansonArch®, QuikSpan® and precast vaults.
