Uses
Circulare Non-Reinforced Concrete Pipe is recommended for installations where:
Low to moderate cover and/or live load conditions exist
Structural failure will not endanger life or property
 
Sizes
Non-Reinforced Concrete Pipe is normally available in diameters of 10 inches (250mm) through 36 inches (900mm). However, in Ontario, it is available in 150mm, 200mm and 250mm.
 
Application
Circular Non-Reinforced Concrete Pipe is produced for the following:
Storm drains
Culverts
250mm concrete is used for sanitary in Hamilton
 
Joints
The following joints are normally available for Circular Non-Reinforced Concrete Pipe:
Tongue and groove with mastic or butyl sealant
Concrete joint with confined O-ring gasket, rubber or neoprene (U.S. Bureau of Reclamation Joint Type R-4)
Concrete joint with single-offset and profile gasket, rubber or neoprene
Positive lock gasket
 
Linings/Coatings
A variety of linings and coatings are available should project conditions dictate their use.
 
Fittings/Specials
