Pipe End Sections provide a smooth transition from the conduit barrel to the environment upstream and downstream.
Applications
Pipe End Sections are used where:
Improved conduit entrances and exits are necessary for flow capacity purposes
Square pipe ends extending from an embankment pose a danger to traffic
The conduit end must be anchored into the embankment
Aesthetics require the pipe ends to blend smoothly with the surrounding embankment
Sizes
Pipe End Sections are normally available for pipe diameters up to 72 inches. For larger conduits, endwalls and headwalls are typically employed.
Joints
Joints are compatible with those of the conduit to which the end section is attached.
Applicable Specifications
End Sections meet the specification applicable to the conduit to which they are attached.
