Precast Interceptors |
Precast Interceptors help separate various solids from wastewater streams and safely store those solids until they can be properly disposed of. The two major categories are grease interceptors and grit/oil interceptors. The units are designed to intercept materials heavier than water (sand, grit, etc.) or materials lighter than water (oil, grease, etc.). They are not intended to remove dissolved materials.
Grease interceptors (traps) are typically used in the restaurant industry.
Oil and grit separators are typically used in manufacturing facilities, car washes, shopping centers and retail automotive sales and repair facilities.
